Web server is a server which is required to run web sites on any machine. These server are used to run either static websites or dynamic websites.Microsoft windows 7/8/10 all versions except home basic and single language version do not contains this service.This service is a feature which is not by default activated .Today we will How to install Web Server in Windows 7/8/10 step by step

Step 1 Open control panel and select programs as this service is not by default installed in any window version

Step 2 Select option Programs and features to install the web feature of the window 10

Step 3 Select Turn windows feature on or off and after that select internet information services option

Step 4 After checking the option internet information services click OK and the service will be installed on the next step

Step 5 After installing the feature restart the system and again open control panel and after that system and  security option

To test the web server whether its running or not just type localhost on your web browser and if the internet information service page opens up that means we have successfully installed the web server
